Reference rates are informational. Your bank, card, cash exchange, or payment provider may use a different rate and add fees.
Understanding the rate
The amount is multiplied by the published reference rate for the selected pair. The amount stays in your browser; only the two currency codes are requested from CoreBase.
Banks, card networks, and payment providers may add their own margin, fees, or use a rate captured at a different time.
A reference or mid-market-style rate is an informational benchmark between currencies. It is not a guaranteed transaction price.

Methodology
CoreBase requests the latest available blended reference rate from Frankfurter v2. Frankfurter aggregates published exchange-rate data from central banks. Rates update when providers publish new data, typically on working days; this is not a real-time trading feed. No previous rate is shown when the provider request fails.
Accuracy & trust
We test and review CoreBase tools, formulas, and information to keep them useful and accurate. Occasional inaccuracies or circumstances specific to your situation can still affect a result, so verify important decisions against your own requirements.
